It's a great time to think about promoting annual screenings for your employees. As an insured employer, you have access to two different screening options for your employee population.
There is an assessment of environmental and quality of life factors and help with navigating systems like MyChart in both screening options. Our team will help establish a connection to the primary care team and review the employee’s health record for any needed preventive health screenings (i.e. mammogram, colonoscopy, immunizations).
Evidence-Based Biometric screening
This screening option involves an initial assessment, including health history, blood pressure, height, weight and waist circumference. Based on risk factors, non-fasting cholesterol and glucose will also be measured with a finger-pick blood draw.
Personal Wellness Plan screening*
This screening option is available in-person or virtually. Our team of wellness professionals will introduce the eight dimensions of wellness and will help your employees create an individualized wellness plan. Our wellness team will help review strengths, identify barriers and offer resources and referrals in a solution-focused intervention. Personal Wellness Plan screenings are booking into April 2022 at this time.
After their screening, employees:
For employers who have 25 or more employees who complete the Health Assessment process, a confidential aggregate report will be provided. A Health Promotion Coordinator will go through the aggregate report with you with suggestions for wellness programming, all at no charge†.
