Pumpkin White Hot Chocolate
3 cups milk (whole, low fat, soy or almond)
1 cup canned pumpkin
½ teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
1 teaspoon vanilla
4 ounces chopped white chocolate
- Heat the milk, pumpkin puree, and spices in a sauce pan until it just starts to simmer and remove form heat.
- Add the vanilla and chocolate then stir until it has melted.
- Pour into mugs. Garnish suggestions: whip cream, ground cinnamon or cinnamon stick

Easy low calorie pumpkin hot cocoa: Mix ½ teaspoon of pumpkin pie spice with one envelope of hot cocoa mix (sugar free, fat free or low calorie) in a mug. Add 2 tablespoons canned pumpkin and ¾ cup hot water. Stir. Garnish with cinnamon.
