Happy Holiday Treats

Dr. Jill Holz shares her family's Kolochky recipe.

While holiday cookies aren't always considered the most healthful snack, Dr. Jill Holz says Kolochky cookies are family favorite because they are simple enough that everyone in the family can help create the tasty treats.

Kolochky

  • 1 lb butter or margarine
  • 11 oz cream cheese
  • 4 c sifted flour

Mix well and chill. Roll into 1 inch balls and flatten with your thumb. Fill with your favorite jam or pie filling. Bake at 425 for 10-12 minutes. Sprinkle with powdered sugar after slightly cooled.
