Routine well child care exams play an important role in keeping children healthy. Well child care exams provide an opportunity for your pediatrician to:

• Examine your child's growth and development
• Discuss age-specific health, behavior and safety issues
• Provide routine immunizations, vision screening, and lab work
• Address any questions you may have regarding their child's health and development

Childhood Immunizations

Dean Clinic Pediatric providers believe that childhood immunizations are critically important to a child's long-term health. We recommend childhood and adolescent immunization schedules that have been approved by the:

• American Academy of Pediatrics
• The Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention
• The American Academy of Family Physicians
