New Pediatric Patients

Welcome to Dean Clinic Pediatrics! We are dedicated to providing your children with comprehensive, compassionate, and up-to-date healthcare.

Meet the Doctor

Dean Clinic offers a wide range of pediatricians at multiple locations. Choosing a pediatrician is a very important and personal decision, and we encourage you to schedule a free "Meet the Doctor" visit.

Feel free to call one of the provider's offices to schedule this appointment. This is an excellent opportunity to meet our physicians and learn more about Dean Clinic Pediatrics. These visits are free of charge to expectant parents and families new to Dean Clinic.

Making an Appointment

If you need to call a pediatrician, please visit our pediatrician listing within our provider directory. Our Patient Care Lines are open 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m., Monday-Friday. If your child is sick, we recommend that you call as soon as you realize you may need an appointment.

For after-hours assistance please call Dean on Call, our free, 24-hour nurse hotline. Dean on Call can be reached at (608) 250-1393 or 1-800-576-8773.

Office Hours

All office hours are by appointment only. Office hours will vary based on location and provider. We respect our patients' time and make every effort to stay on time for appointments. We offer a variety of appointments to meet the needs of children and their families.

As a service to our patients, we have weekend office hours for sick child visits only. These are available on Saturday and Sunday mornings from 9:30 am - 12:00 pm. These office hours are only held at the Dean Clinic - East and Dean Clinic - West Pediatric locations.

Types of Appointments

Our daily schedule is carefully designed with appointments of varying length and complexity. For your convenience, our appointments can be scheduled several months in advance. Our patients find this especially helpful when scheduling Well Child Care appointments. Early scheduling for camp, school and athletic examinations is encouraged.

Our scheduling staff will certainly assist you in choosing the appropriate appointment type. Our appointment types include:

  • Well Child Care Visits — Comprehensive exams and immunizations that are important to your child's overall health and well-being. For more information about recommended appointments, visit our Well Child Care page.
  • Sick Visits — Same day appointments for children with acute illness symptoms.
  • Extended Visits — These are longer appointments for children with ongoing health concerns, such as chronic headaches, abdominal pain, ADHD, allergy/asthma, gynecological and behavioral concerns.

Medical Release Forms

In order to facilitate your child's transition to Dean Clinic Pediatrics, it is important that our office receive a copy of your child's health and immunization records from your previous provider. The following form will allow your previous provider to send us your child's records.

Depending on your situation, you may also wish to fill out a family communications form.
