Dean’s Obstetrics & Gynecology physicians (Ob/Gyn), Maternal-Fetal Medicine physicians (high-risk pregnancy treatment), and Family Practice with Obstetrics physicians specialize in women’s reproductive health, and care for pregnancy and beyond. They provide comprehensive medical care for:

• Well women
• Women who are pregnant or contemplating pregnancy
• Women preventing pregnancy
• Women in their post-reproductive years

All of our physicians are board certified by their respective specialty boards.

Dean’s Ob/Gyn and Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialists serve as consultants to primary care physicians. Because your global health is important, we recommend that female Dean patients have a primary care physician (Family Medicine or Internal Medicine) and an Ob/Gyn physician.

Our Madison physicians deliver babies at St. Mary’s Hospital, where natural labor is supported and respected, but high-risk help is a step away if needed. Our Obstetricians are in-house while you labor, as are our Anesthesiologists and Neonatologists (Intensive Care Nursery physicians). This level of support is unique in the region. St. Mary’s Hospital offers a level III Neonatal Intensive Care nursery.

Our St. Mary’s Dean Ventures physicians work out of their community hospitals, but have a direct link to Dean Clinic’s Janesville and Madison physicians. They transfer expectant mothers and babies with intensive-care needs to St. Mary’s Hospital if needed.
