Dean Endocrinology

Dean's Endocrinology specialists (endocrinologists) diagnose, treat and prevent diseases that affect the endocrine system. They treat adults and adolescents (13 years and older) who have endocrine disorders. They provide care in multiple clinic locations.

Conditions Treated

The endocrine system is comprised of glands-organs that produce hormones linked to metabolism, growth and development, and reproduction. Dean's endocrinologists treat diseases of the endocrine system, which include:

  • Diabetes mellitus
  • Thyroid and parathyroid disorders
  • Osteoporosis
  • Adrenal disorders
  • Pituitary and growth disorders
  • Weight problems and obesity
  • Hypertension
  • Cholesterol and other lipid disorders

Endocrinologists are board certified in Internal Medicine, with additional specialization in endocrinology. Both medical doctors (MD) and doctors of osteopathy (DO) may specialize in endocrinology.
