Step 1 - Choose the Right Team
The anticipation of your new look is very exciting! However, the decision to have cosmetic surgery is a significant one. Your first and most important step is to find the right plastic surgeon — one who is qualified, experienced and who cares about you as a unique individual.
Our surgeons and the entire team at the Aesthetic Surgery Center are professionals who are dedicated to providing you with excellent service and care.

Step 2 - Schedule a Consultation
To explore your options and meet with one of our cosmetic surgeons, we recommend you schedule a personal consultation with our Aesthetic Surgery Center team.
To schedule your consultation, please call (608) 821-4000. The initial consultation is $60, which will be collected at the time of your appointment. If you anticipate being late for your appointment, please call so we can make the appropriate arrangements.
We ask that you fill out our New Patient Form prior to your appointment, and bring it with you to your consultation.
Consider
Step 3 - Consider Your Options
Your consultation with the cosmetic surgeon will involve an in-depth conversation about your goals, expectations and concerns. The cosmetic surgeon will recommend the best options available to you, explain what the procedure involves and explain the potential risks. Patients typically spend approximately 45 minutes with the cosmetic surgeon.
After your meeting with the surgeon, a nurse or specialized technician will take photos. You'll see the potential results of how you could look using our digital imaging technology. Breast augmentation patients may also size for implants.
After meeting with the surgeon and having your photos taken, you will meet with our patient coordinator. The patient coordinator will assist you by providing comprehensive education materials. She will also review cost and payment details, sharing the financing option of using Care Credit. When you are ready to schedule your surgery, you will work with the patient coordinator.
Our skilled nurses and specialized technicians will also provide pre- and post-operative care instructions, and offer follow-up care details before and after surgery.
After this consultation, which typically lasts 1 to 1.5 hours, you will have all of the information necessary to make an informed decision about the procedure in which you are interested.

Step 4 - Rely on Exceptional Medical Care
Your safety and wellbeing are of the utmost importance. All cosmetic surgeries are performed at the Dean and St. Mary's Outpatient Center or the Davis Duehr Dean - Surgery Center. Both are a nationally accredited facilities with the safety and dependability you can count on. Board-certified physician anesthesiologists will work alongside your cosmetic surgeon, using state-of-the-art medical and patient monitoring equipment during your surgery.

Care
Step 5 - Receive Care After Surgery
Your safe recovery is very important to us; we want it to be as quick and easy as possible. During your recovery, we encourage you to call the Aesthetic Surgery Center if you have any medical questions or concerns. During regular business hours (8:00-5:00 Monday-Friday), you may reach us at (608) 821-4000.
Dean also offers Dean On Call, a free 24-hour nurse line, which you may call at any time of the day with medical questions or concerns.
Piece of mind after the surgery is also an important part of your recovery process. It's good to know that the Aesthetic Surgery Center offers CosmetAssure and Patient Insure. These options provide you with insurance coverage in the unlikely event that you have a specific complication. There are some restrictions; therefore, we encourage you to call us if you have any questions.
