DEAN'S HEMATOLOGY/ONCOLOGY DEPARTMENT RELOCATES
MADISON, WI – Effective June 26th, Dean Health System’s Hematology & Oncology Department has moved from its old location at Dean Clinic, 1313 Fish Hatchery Rd., Madison, to a brand-new Hematology & Oncology Clinic located within Sauk Trails Plaza, 1200 John Q. Hammons Drive on Madison’s west side.
“This move will provide a much more spacious and comfortable environment for our patients and their families, and help meet the present and future growth of the department,” says Michael Frontiera, MD, Hematology/Oncology Department Chair.
Dr Frontiera along with Yamil Arbaje, MD; Peter Beatty, MD; Charles Diggs, MD; James Engeler, MD and Edward Prendergast, MD will occupy the entire 4th floor of the building covering 18,500 square feet. The new facility includes nine exam rooms, two procedure rooms, 37 chemotherapy/infusion chairs as well as laboratory and imaging services. Mental health and genetics services will also be offered.
The move will not affect Hematology and Oncology
services currently offered at other Dean locations. Patients
referred to Madison for care will need to come to this new
location. As of June 26th, the department telephone number
will change to (608) 410-2700. Patients who use the old location
number, (608) 252-8222, will automatically be switched to the new line.
