KAUFMAN ELECTED DEAN HEALTH SYSTEM BOARD CHAIRMAN
MADISON, WI – The Dean Health System (DHS) Board of Directors has elected Mark A. Kaufman, MD, to a three-year term as Board Chairman.
Dr. Kaufman will preside over the 19-member board which oversees the organizational entities that provide health services, insurance products and ancillary services to patients and customers.
Dr. Kaufman joined Dean 1982 as an Internal Medicine physician at the West Clinic in Madison.
For the last five years, he has served as Chief Medical Officer of Dean Health Insurance, Inc. He will continue in his role while serving as DHS Board Chair.
Dr. Kaufman earned his Undergraduate Degree at the University of Michigan and his Medical Degree at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine in Philadelphia. He fulfilled his Post-Graduate training at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
