SSM Health Care of Wisconsin and Dean Health System are building a $150 million community hospital and clinic in Janesville, scheduled to open in late 2011.

By inviting our long-time hospital partner, SSM Health Care of Wisconsin (the parent company of St. Mary ’s Hospital in Madison), Dean Health System will soon offer Janesville an even broader continuum of high-quality care.

Together, Dean and St. Mary’s have provided top-flight, compassionate healthcare to south-central Wisconsin for nearly 100 years.

As healthcare partners, we have listened to patients and their employers, as well as our own physicians, nurses and staff. The message from the Janesville area is clear; it’s time to offer a new choice in hospital care.

Our Plans

St. Mary's Janesville Hospital will be a 50-bed hospital totaling approximately 163,000 square feet. Dean Clinic in Janesville will total approximately 150,000 square feet. The 50-acre site incorporates space for planned future growth of both the hospital and the clinic.

The convenient location will allow easy access for patients coming from Janesville and other surrounding communities. Dean and St. Mary's are proud to be able to support the Janesville Community with new quality jobs and growth.
