Psychiatric Nurses (RN) are teamed specifically with one physician in order to support a patient’s treatment. A psychiatric nurse may participate in office visits with the doctor and patient, and may be the first to respond when a patient calls with a question about medication.

Psychologists (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) are doctoral-level clinicians. A clinical psychologist provides psychological testing and evaluation, diagnosis, and psychotherapy.

Licensed Clinical Social Workers and other masters-prepared therapists (LCSW, LMFT, LPC) are part of the mental heath therapist team which provides assessment, diagnosis, and psychotherapy services.
