Dean Clinic to Offer Multiple Sclerosis Speaker Series

Education Series Aims to Educate Individuals Affected by MS

Madison – Every week about 200 people are diagnosed with multiple sclerosis.

During MS Awareness Week (March 10-16), the Dean Clinic MS Program is pleased to announce an upcoming educational series for individuals affected by MS.  The series will include four separate programs, each featuring an expert speaker who will provide their insights regarding MS symptom management.

Because of the high variability of its symptoms, recognizing MS can be a challenge in itself.

“The symptoms of MS are unpredictable and can vary greatly from one individual to another.  Some people have the disease for decades with no visible signs, while for others, symptom onset can be very dramatic,” says Dr. Natasha Frost, Neurologist and Medical Director of the MS Program at Dean Clinic. “We are looking forward to making a broad scope of expert insights on MS symptom management available through the upcoming series.”

The educational series is set to begin next month.  The programs will be open to the public and free of charge.  All will be held at the Garden Room at Hilton Garden Inn, Madison West / Middleton, with future dates to be announced.

Because seating will be limited, RSVP’s are encouraged.

Details for the first event are below:
