Forward Janesville Names Healthcare Partners ‘Business of the Year’

On Thursday, January 26, 2012 Dean Clinic - Janesville East and St. Mary's Janesville Hospital picked up the award for 'Business of the Year' (over 50 employees) at the 11th Annual Forward Janesville awards luncheon.
Forward Janesville is a private-sector economic and community development effort to ensure the continued health and prosperity of business and industries within Janesville and greater-Rock County. Dean Clinic and St. Mary’s Janesville Hospital, which partnered to develop a new medical campus off Highway 11 and I-90, are one of nine recipients this year.
The $153 million dollar clinic and hospital project will employ a total of nearly 750 workers, or approximately 350 people within the hospital and 400 people within the clinic. Both will offer an economic boost to the community of Janesville.
The doors to a new clinic and hospital in Janesville officially opened Monday, January 9,
2012.
