Former NFL Star Helps Families Tackle Diabetes

Former Pittsburgh Steeler Kendall Simmons to Share His Diabetes Management Game Plan with Madison Families

Madison – Former Pittsburgh Steeler Kendall Simmons has faced large opponents on the football field, but none as formidable as diabetes. In a special event sponsored by Dean Clinic and St. Mary’s Hospital, Simmons will share his story and how managing his diabetes helped him keep playing – all the way to a Super Bowl win.

In addition to hearing Simmons speak, the free event hosted at St. Mary’s Hospital will include healthy diet ideas, interactive games and other informational vendor booths for area families living with diabetes.
