Time for Kids - Community Baby Shower Donation Drive is a Success

Dean Clinic teamed up with WISC-TV again this year to collect baby supplies for area families in need

Dean Clinic is proud to once again sponsor the WISC-TV Community Baby Shower. The baby shower collection was held July 15th – 17th at Slumberland East and West in Madison. Organizers say this year's collection was a success, with donations were up.

Dean Clinic employees took it upon themselves to help this year. Donations drives were held at each of the Dane County clinic locations. Hundreds of new and gently used baby items were collected, including baby clothes, diapers, and baby wipes, as well as hand knitted hats and booties, toys, blankets, and more.

The distribution of items will take place at the Community Baby Shower, which will be held at the Urban League Center for Economic Development (2222 S. Park) on Saturday, September 24th, from 1pm to 3pm.

The shower is open to expectant women or those with infants 1-year-old or younger. An invitation is needed to attend. You can call (608) 770-2049 to request an invite.

The WISC-TV Time For Kids – Community Baby Shower is sponsored by Dean Clinic, Slumberland Furniture, Today Not Tomorrow, Project Babies, and Mocha Moms Inc.
