Cozy Covers

If you know someone who has undergone chemotherapy or radiation treatment, you know how difficult it can be. During the time, any kind, thoughtful gesture means so much. You can help give comfort to an oncology patient by donating a homemade blanket or shawl.

How Cozy Covers:

  • Choose a soft and washable material
  • The finished size of the shawl/blanket should be approximately 36 x 50 inches.
  • You can crochet, knit, sew, quilt or tie a Cozy Cover.
  • You can be as creative as you like. Just remember, you're providing a comforting shawl or blanket for a patient undergoing treatment.
  • When your Cozy Cover is complete, call Juli Brown at the Dean Foundation at 608-827-2300.

We will add a personalized tag and note card and deliver your gift to a patient undergoing treatment at one of the area oncology clinics.

Free Memory Screenings!

In line with our mission to improve the health of the community, Dean Foundation is now offering free memory screenings at its office, 2711 Allen Blvd., Middleton.

  • The screening is a series of questions and tasks designed to test your memory and other cognitive functions.
  • Each lasts approximately 15 minutes.
  • Walk-ins are welcome Monday through Thursday from 9:00 am - 3:00 pm.

To make an appointment, call us at 608-827-2300.
