Eligibility Requirements
You can join DeanCare Rx if you are entitled to Medicare Part A and/or enrolled
in Medicare Part B and live in Wisconsin. Eligible individuals may
only enroll in one Medicare Prescription Drug Plan at a time and may not
be enrolled in an Medicare Advantage Plan. People who have both Medicare
and Medicaid are automatically enrolled, although they can choose which
prescription drug plan they want for their coverage.
You may join or leave a Medicare Prescription Drug Plan only during certain times of the year unless you meet certain special exceptions, such as if you move out of our service area. If you qualify for extra help with your prescription drug costs, you may enroll in, or disenroll from, a plan at any time. If you lose this extra help during the year, your opportunity to make a change continues for two months after you are notified that you no longer qualify for extra help.
